Winning Out
Seniors ran thru the power T
Sentimental friends and family
Saturday night, purple an' yellow Tigers of LSU
Sixty minutes, the Vols pull together as a crew
Scattered gusting monsoons and all
Still so sweet to be a Tennessee Vol
Success measured by Orange fight and pride
Seniors depart Neyland with heads held high
Seven days after the team stood stout
Seniors return for a final bout
Stadium packed with Tennessee Volunteers
Sadness and joy mixes smiles with tears
Same-state sports rivals: the Vols and the 'Dores
Seniors, on the gridiron, write their final lores
Saturday night as a team in late November,
Seniors grab all the glory you'll ever remember.

Lexington: Waterloo or Hastings
This
Saturday, The Big Orange visits The Big Blue
Young men
scrapping on the turf of an Old Kentucky Home
For the
victor, no Beer Barrel Trophy or even one of chrome
Border
champions simply recorded in lieu
A heavy award
for UT, me, or UK, you.
A gridiron
rivalry since 1893 with the Vols’ winning streak @ five
Yet this
season, the Cats have two SEC wins and Butch’s troops’ have none
In ‘50,
Rocky Top beat the Bear, before he went to lead the Crimson
Just last
week, the Bear’s progeny pounded our team no matter how hard they did strive
So now,
all roads and questions lead to Lexington, draped in Autumn pageantry and pride
Can our
team keep its streak alive, start another anew, and will our battered coach
survive?
